Who is responsible
Halal in Amsterdam (HalalInAmsterdam.com), Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is responsible for the personal data described here. Questions or requests: hello@halalinamsterdam.com.
The short version
- We collect only what we need to answer you, deliver what you buy and keep our accounts.
- No advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no profiles, and we never sell your data.
- You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete your data.

Who receives your data
We use a small number of trusted services, each bound by a data processing agreement or their own privacy duties:
- Lemon Squeezy (with its payment partner Stripe): our reseller and merchant of record. It handles checkout, payment, VAT, invoices, downloads, e-mail to customers and partner commissions.
- Cloudflare: website hosting, security and the form handler.
- Resend: delivers the messages from our forms to our inbox.
- Our e-mail provider, for our correspondence with you.
Some of these companies are based in the United States. Transfers outside the European Economic Area rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it.

Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy in a common format, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use a right, e-mail hello@halalinamsterdam.com or choose Privacy or data request in our contact form. We answer within one month and it is free. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We delete your data unless the law requires us to keep it; order records, for example, stay in our tax administration for seven years, and are used for nothing else.
You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or to the authority in your own country.
Security
The website runs over HTTPS only. Access to orders and messages is limited to us and protected with strong passwords and two-factor authentication.
Children
Our services are meant for adults. Children under 16 should ask a parent or guardian to contact us for them.
Automated decisions
We do not make automated decisions or build profiles about you.
Changes
When we change this policy we update the date at the top. Important changes are announced on this page.
